I dont know how it is for others but for me once i started to get it high enough to find the balance point(way higher than you think it is) it gets infinitely less scary, even though that sounds totally backwards...it almost like the closer to 12o clock you get the less scary and more control...

Up in First with a shift into second then rode it out...learning to shift in the wheelie is a game changer! Now i feel like i can ride them forever!

Just putting a feeler out to see if anyone would even want to buy my used rear tire (Battleax-BT021) that had a screw in it. Im not ballsy enough to patch it and keep riding it plus no shop around here will patch it...it has only about 2500mi on it... I just ordered a new tire so I still need to...
Sorry I cant answer those specific questions but just a heads up, check the state laws where you are about not having an exhaust too. Here in NC its illegal to run without an exhaust.
and just an idea... maybe stick a piece of cardboard or something between the calipers next time so if your buddy decides to squeeze it again, it might just leave enough gap for a something to fit in to push them apart...good luck!
Might be a dumb question but what could happen if you don't block the hole on the air box itself when you do the ais block?
