You don't need to pull the radiator, but you do need to drop it by removing the one or two bolts that hold it up. To remove the coil packs, disconnect the harness and twist and pull the pack out.

YES!!!!! Same thing happened to me. I burned out a coil pack for one of the spark plugs - see my post for "Loss of Power, sputtering...." You can check them by looking at the primary and secondary resistance of each coil pack with a multi-meter. I can provide additional instruction, but...

Did you test your coil packs? I can give directions if needed. All you need is a multi-meter.

Got the replacement coil pack installed today. Bike ran like a dream. Can't believe that was the issue, but hey! It worked!

Yes, you read it right, S1000R and not RR. BMW made a streetfighter based on the HP4 motor and on paper looks quite good. I plan on getting one soon. They advertise 160 BHP and from the youtubes, looks accurate. Anyone get anything similar?
