Whos does projector conversions

I'd like to know that also. I was pretty close to getting something from bkmoto, but read that the customer service might not be great and the product might not be the best. I've got the a really good halogen bulb, but I really like the clean white light like an LED or other types of modern lighting.

Give it a shot yourself! I did mine years ago with 0 experience doing retrofits. I did my research and took my time and I'm sooo proud of the results.

I went to theretrofitsource.com for everything I needed. They sell universal "kits" which i think includes the Projector, Wiring, and your choice of shroud. I went with the Panamera Shroud and the customer service made the suggestions on the size of each halo that best fits that particular shroud. With all the write-ups on this forum and the help from the retrofit source cust. service I took on the project with no experience besides being a reasonably handy person. Wiring is pretty straight forward, and the rest was just trimming the shroud to fit the reflector bowl. Trimming and painting probably took the most time because I took my time to make it look good even when inspecting it up close.

Have you had any problems with heat or any other issues? Would you be able to explain, maybe directions, of what you did and stuff?

No problems with heat. I put my projector on a switch so that it is not always on. Otherwise it overpowers the halos and i wanted to show those off sometimes. Light output is incredible and yet not blinding for oncoming drivers because of the clean cut-off line. A quick summary- I first waited till winter so I could take my time. Before doing anything I worked out the wiring and did some tests to make sure I had that right. Wiring was simple and any questions the retrofit source guys helped me out. Then the headlight housing goes into the oven at a low heat to soften up the glue and split it. After that was a ton of time with a dremel carefully cutting away material from the shroud and a little from the stock reflector bowl. The projector mounts to the shroud easily since it was designed to and the halos I used some epoxy to carefully glue to the shroud (wires were fed through a hole I drilled in the shroud) Everything was sanded and painted. The projector screwed to the reflector bowl and the the shroud glued to the projector. this allows me to use the stock headlight adjustment screws later on. Finally everything was carefully put back in the oven and pressed together. Its a tight squeeze with the Panamera shroud, like really tight lol I did this in 2014 so the pictures aren't as great as I remembered

How long have you had the light converted? It looks like 6 years, right? That's great. It's still going strong? Could you get a picture of the light pattern? I'd be interested to see what that looks like. Thanks
