Rebuilding Rolling Chassis FZ8

Hey all,

I’m a new member just picked up this clean title rolling chassis FZ8 someone used to do a motor swap into an FZ8..

I’m slowly getting most parts I need I just need some guidance hopefully someone can provide in regard to mounting the motor. I purchased this mix box of nuts and screws which included the two long main engine bolts I believe.

But when looking at the manual it shows I need a special tool from Yamaha to tighten down some adjustment bolts. Is anyone here familiar with installing the motor on these frames?

I suggest to have a look on the R1 owner site. the installation is probably quite similar (at least for the 2007 R1) and as there are some needs for engine maitnenance on R1 you will have probably some info there.

I'm looking to get one of these at the minute. For future reference; it's a two part tool apparently:
90890-01518 - Pivot shaft wrench
90890-01476 - Pivot shaft wrench adapter
Together they retail at about £90 from Yamaha so if anyone has a second hand one it would be much appreciated :)
