I am thinking pretty seriously about getting a 2012 Fazer, one previous owner, FSH - looks great, sounds great only thing is 42000 miles on the clock. Not sure if I need talking out of it or not! London based if that makes any difference.
That should not be a problem. My Fazer now has over 110,000 km (about 69,000 mls) on the clock. Oil change every 7000 mls, adjust valves every 25,000 mls and have fun.
Without getting off-topic and derailed on a larger, related topic - so long as the required and appropriate maintenance has been done 42,000 miles should be nothing - just like with a car.
