Welp, I've done did it now. Just plopped a down payment to put a used 2011 FZ8 on layaway till the weather clears. 3562 miles, $5550 out the door tax, title, plates, and free storage till spring. Completely spotless and stock but for a rock chip on the tank and a powerbronze windscreen. Absolutely stoked to ride this thing in the spring.

Thanks! It's my first Street bike. Ridden dirt since I could fit on a bike, and just don't have the time to do it as much as I want. So I figured I'd move to the street so I could ride almost every day when it's not winter.

Great choice on bikes! You will be surprised by how little wind buffeting you get from this bike. I have no real windscreen to speak of and am blown away by how well I cut through the wind at highway speeds.

Yeah, I havent taken it on the highway, but my father rode it back from the dealer since he has the motorcycle endorsement and I don't and he said it was really good for a naked bike
