The thing with the zx7r is,there are so many spares on the market and ebay is crammed with stuff for them. Yes they are a heavy bike but you will not find a better track tool for the money. If you want a wheelie machine then go for something a bit newer. Mine has had 1000s thrown at it to make it what it is now. im almost scared to take it on track, but i wouldn't consider anything else for what i need. you can easily loose shed loads of weight of them just by stripping all the parts off you dont need.

I've had four zx7s over the years including a double r...

Most stable handling bikes I've ever ridden. Mostly due to the 52f/48r weight distribution... It will hold a line like nobody's business

The only real issue I ever had with my P-series sevens.. Two of them developed leaks where the pushrod for the clutch goes through the case on the left side behind the clutch slave. Just a $3 seal popped in and problem solved. Oh and had to replace a fuel pump in one
