What you put in the fuel tank so as not to mark it with your zipper?

I've seen the Yamaha pads, but I do not like them very much.

I use the TECHSPEC C3 grips

you can either cut your own peice out, or get a precut piece for the FZ8.

+1 on the Techspecs. They are my single favorite mod so far!

I ordered the Yamaha one in the second pic too and didn't like it so I never put it on. I'm trying to find something else to put it on now.

But I think that is not what I'm looking for. I think I fit something like vinyl.
Something translucent to not hide the original color of the tank ... not what I mean.
My car has something to protect some low-lying areas of the body and also have seen some bikes with high-end carbon frame to protect it from impacts of small stones.

I think that's what I'm looking for.

It sure is, I love that little thing. It's old tech. 2009 drz 400 sm.

love the gripster pads

I put a gripster on each side of the tank and cut a fusion pad to fit the rear seat today. My wife is loving the passenger seat now - no more sliding into me and clunking helmets anymore! I am loving the protection on my tank and increased control while riding. A worthwhile addition for sure.
