Front Stand

I have a front stand left over from my R1 days. Its the one with the two fingered support on each side and I find that the two fingers are too far apart to support the forks. The base on the FZ8 and Fazer seem a lot smaller. Anyone else find this? or is it just me? Am going to get a triple tree stand soon. I just don't trust lifting my bike with the stand that I have.

I have that same type of stand with the two rubber coated tabs on each side. Seems to work fine.

I've heard with the triple stands, the fz's headlight can be a nuisance

I have the fazer version of the FZ. So your stand seems to work all right.You probably have a similar stand, the two tabs are on a trianglar backing that has a pin and spring. Its just that when I push down on the bar to lift, the tab doesn't stay under the fork, kinda flips. Thanks for the response.
