Hi guys
Recently replaced the front springs on my fz8 (2011-2013), just realized the left side fork does not dumping at all and the cylinder piston/rod has a quite excessive play side ways. I talked to few guys with some yamaha workshop experience but non of them sore about that is normal or it may failed, so I striped it. Can't see any wear or damage on the piston. I already checked the service manual but it doesn't said anything about the forks operations only mentioned there is a different oil level and dumper built in the left and right side. If anyone had any leftovers from front forks upgrade I more than happy to buy of a left side fork damping cylinder. Also if anyone has a front wheel spindle I would buy one of that too. Cheers guys.
