Forks leaking oil.

I don't know a lot about motorcycles but need some mechanical advice/guidance. I have a 13' FZ8 and oil slowly leaking from my Forks where the seals are. What can I do to fix this and exactly how do I fix this. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

Gotta do your fork seals. How many miles are on it. Surprised they are leaking this soon unless you are landing hard wheelies.

I don't even know how to do a wheelie. I only have 8,350 miles on it. I ride it every single day and everywhere. Any insight as to how to change the fork seals?

Did you buy this used or brand new off the floor? If used, guy before you then must have ripped on it! I am surprised that they need to be done this early. Unfortunately, I have never done fork seals myself..Changing the fork springs on these bikes is pretty easy... You will have to take the forks apart though for the seals. You will probably have to bring them in since you said you don't know much about motorcycles... How is your rear suspension doing.... are your triangle links bending?

check lower fork legs for any scratches on the chrome. there is a "motion pro" tool that you can insert into the dust seal that removes trapped grime if no scratches are found on the fork kegs.

Your seals are gone and by the sounds of it your not much of a mechanic?
I'd get yourself down to your local dealer or friendly mechanic pronto.
Seals are pretty easy to replace but you do need specialist tools to remove and most importantly re-fit the seals.
Not sure where you going to blow your seals in under 8k miles.
Are you washing your bike carefully and using the right detergents?
Good luck

Changing fork seals unless you know how and have the right tools is a bitch. Helped a friend do his and he knew how. Went fine, however had I tried to do this myself man it would have been tough, I think 250 to 350 is what a shop will charge you. Fork seals can also be broken by securing a bike in a truck or trailer to tight. Yup my dumbass did it first time I ever put my bike in my truck strapped it way to tight cause I wanted to make sure it was secure.
