So after a oil change blunder in New Orleans and a week of loafing around and drinking I finally got my butt back in gear to head westward. Camped out the night at Cameron LA thanks to the advice given by a fellow redditor and it was very nice, although cold and windy. Set about the next morning sister in tow to Houston where im currently typing this out. Hopefully weather clears up tomorrow and allows me to ride out to Austin to spend time with a cousin and then Big Bend national park which is supposed to be lovely.
