Engine Swap

Hey all,

So real quick bought my FZ8 in June this year loved it but wrecked it the other day. Luckly I walked away with minor injuries but I fear the bike in totaled. BUT the sliders did their job and saved the engine.

So, here comes my idea; I want to buy my bike back and remove the entire engine, trans, ecu everthing that I would need and put it in to a R6 frame...
Reason why cheaper to get, and easier to find.

Tried looking online for anything that would help found some stuff with R1 engines in FZ8 and R6 engines going into FZ6. but nothing about a FZ8 engine going into sosmthing else.

I personally like how the FZ8 engine runs and feels this is why I would like to keep it.

Anyone Have any input on this idea that would like to share?

The only thing I've heard is that the FZ1 frame is the same as the FZ8 frame, and FZ1 frames shouldn't be too hard to find.

yeah , the fz8n and the fz1n are almost the same bike but the fz8n has a detuned engine and all the required bits to run the engine and some cosmetic changes. as far as I know anyway.
