I need to remove my wheels for cheaper tire changes and to get a shop to remove a small bend on the lip of one of my wheels from a pothole.

I have a torque wrench front and rear stands. Allen wrenches.
Always change my oil and installed my fender eliminator and slip-on exhaust.

Hopefully this wont be to complex :)

Raise the wheel off the ground

Undo the brake calipers and suppend using wire so you don't stretch the lines

Undo axle and slide out, catch the wheel as it drops. Take note of where any spacers go.

Same for the rear wheel except you will need to back off the chain adjustment and slip the chain off the sprocket and don't remove the rear caliper.

Installation is the reverse. Front Axle torque is 65Nm (47ft Ib) and caliper bolts are 40Nm (29ft Ib) Rear Axle is 150Nm (108ft Ib)

i believe both wheels are also directional. i usually mark rotation as I remove it. helps when lining up wheel and tire direction

I did the front this morning, and I can see how it makes things easier. The calipers are kinda tucked into the wheel.
