Installed PCV about 6 months back...chaopped the airbox, K&N filter, and Akra slipon....... overall the power curve is much much smoother, more resposive and torquey, gear changes seem smoother, fuel consumption is slightly better but nothing really to write home about.....I tried the standard...

Hiya fellow FZ8'rs....recently did the AIS unplug and airbox mod and notice that the idle is a little rough...not much but it jumps from 900-1000rpm and down again constantly....no biggie as the bike runs awesome other than that.... Ive got the Power Commander 5 on their so Im wondering if its...

Yep absolutely agree...took me AGES to figure that one out....did the airbox mod while I was sorting the AIS mod and sure enough no more clicking!!

do you think that would work for the fz8s....so the model with the mini fairing> the headlight config is 2 side by side....so obviously I'd have to get 2 HID lights instead of 1; but presumably it would be fine....dunno about the drain of power however....?? thoughts??

what do you mean when you say clicking/clacking? I have noticed if I take off from standstill and let the clutch out a little bit too much with not enough throttle I get a kind of clacking sound......is this what you mean? Keen to do the AIS / SMOG plates blockoff also as since I got my PCV...
