I have Venhill front and rear lines. I love them. My only complaint would be that the brake will engage slightly before it hits the switch for the rear brake light.

It's probably around 1k rpm higher then stock. Probably not the best choice for someone who does long highway rides. I hop on the highway usually for a maximum of 30 minutes at a time and it's fine for that. Gas milage wasn't greatly impacted either, surprisingly.

I did -1 front +1 rear with 525 chain. I love my setup, I cannot imagine +2 in the rear is much of a difference over +1. The only bad thing is highway cruising but I don't do much of that. I do 2-3 trips a year that are highway for 2+ hours and still get around 45 mpg

I would definitely go with steel sprockets. I did a black vortex sprocket that is steel and roughly 5000 miles later the paint hasn't even worn off. My brother has a wr450 supermoto with aluminum sprockets they seem to wear very quickly

I've never seen this issue personally but I would check oil level and play with the clutch adjustment.

I definitely see what your saying but I was actually thinking that the 525 chain and sprockets would be stronger though. Is the 520 just as good? The only 520 sprockets I could find are gytr front and vortex rear. What would be a good chain? I was thinking vortex

Has anyone on here ordered from redracingparts.com? They are the only aones who sell 525 pitch front and rear sprockets for the fz8. I looked up reviews on Google and it seems like people have had problems with them... Both sprockets is only like $45 vs paying around 200 if I do a 520 swap
