I had that problem as well. I have a Cortech textile jacket that acts like a sail which is kinda odd since it is the smallest jacket that I have. I tried my son's leather jacket and a mesh jacket and they made a huge difference.

I did the fingernail/no heat routine. Took about 30-40 minutes. Wd-40 works surprisingly well getting the glue off. I just sprayed some on a flannel rag and rubbed it off.

I saw some helmet locks on the Yamaha website, but I'm not sure where they are supposed to clamp onto the bike. They cost $80, a little steep in my opinion.
