Bike is treating me good so far. Still haven't gone on a decent ride yet. Did get the new turn signals installed, and got the new levers in yesterday. Gonna get those installed, and take it on a nice ride on a nice warm day.

Yes you can. I would just wrap some electrical wire around it to prevent any dirt and moisture causing any issues.

Metal or plastic should not matter when you use a clay bar on the finish. Just make sure your surface is clean (so wash her before you clay her).

Ohhhh nice. I got the driven D3 grips. They are nice, but I think I want something a bit more thick. Today I finally got a chance to play around after the new throttle tube, and man what a difference. Best 8 bucks ever spent.

Got the new tube installed, and will say its very smooth now. No jerkiness at all. Don't think I like the new grips, gonna order some different ones. Might even do a little step by step for anyone out there.

Its not a bad deal, but its you who has to see if its really worth it. I like mine, one of these days will remove it so that I can see how it feels without one. Anyways, I thought he had sold it already. Let me know if you go over to his place, I will ride with you.

Maybe I will stick my stock exhaust as well. Was thinking of getting the Two Brothers exhaust. Wonder how is the droning with the Yoshimura exhaust.

I know I do, I think last week I did the most riding since I got the bike. Was 450 last Sunday. Hopefully once the 1000 mile mark is crossed, I will be riding it more and more. Feels good to finally being able to cross the 6K RPM mark.

After crossing the 600 mile mark I changed the oil, and the filter. Went pretty smooth. User Shell T6 5W-40, and a K&N filter. No leaks, or any other issues. Will admit that for some weird reason, the bike feels like it has more power, it feels more responsive, and yes it feels smooth like it...
