Bone stock I've seen 145 "naked" and 152 with my Givi winscreen on and tucked. It will go faster though... Ps. mine will indicate 75 mph bouncing the rev limiter in first. Not how i normally ride, just did it for the hell of it. lol

To measure the torque you would need a torque wrench... But as long as you get it to about the amount of force it took to take it off i think you will be fine! maybe just check it after riding for a week or so...

I mounted my bar end mirrors between the grips and the factory bar end weights using a longer bolt. as for the spacing issue, I simply used a washer to get some clearance between the throttle and the mirror.

Smoked an 07 Honda CBR600RR through about 3 miles of fast sweepers. By doing a research I realize you're completely right on the lack of gear indicator. If the ECU does regulate ignition timing and secondary butterfly actuation by gear position it uses speed and rpm to figure it out... scrap that idea. Sounded like something fun to do first thing this morning...
