    Roadtrip/Guhl's ECU Flash Review

Almost 2 years later and it's still great. Bike is currently at 12,500 miles. It'll whoop a fz7 and hold up against a stock fz9. Out of all the mods I've done to the bike, the guhl tune is possibly the best(maybe tied with adjustable rearsets).

Sup everyone. So to change things up a bit this year, I won't be using the Fz for long distance hauls anymore, I picked up a big Yamaha cruiser for that, so I'm leaning more towards style mods with my Fz. One point being the handle bars. I didn't like the way the clip ons fit, so I'm leaning...

My daily ride to work through NYC in under 3 minutes. Queens to Manhattan via BQE/Williamsburg Bridge.

Bummed out to hear you sold the Fz... Sv's are pretty badass too, I'm usually in the park slope area, if you're ever around..

Went with drag bars, then inverted them, got my rearsets, shogun sliders, and the guhl flash. Have radiator covers, and the passanger seat coming in soon, then a full paint job over the winter.

    Best windscreen?

Most of the big screens dont really look good on the bike. I want one thats form fitted to the bike.

    Best windscreen?

Nope, inverted drag bars, for long distance, I pivot them up. Lol also, anything is what you make of it, my fz8 is slowly becoming the image I had in my head when I saw my blank canvas at the stealership

    Best windscreen?

Looking to get a windscreen for when I take longer trips. What are some good ones that I can tuck behind? I have a more forward riding setup than stock.

    Roadtrip/Guhl's ECU Flash Review

Yeah, I have crap luck when it comes to motorcycle tires, on my third rear tire currently, about to replace the oem front tire next week with a q3.

    Roadtrip/Guhl's ECU Flash Review

So rather than send my ecu to Guhl, and have my bike down for a few days, I decided to ride there instead, and turn it into the first leg of an almost 1,000 mile roadtrip. Five miles into the trip, I caught a nail in the rear tire and had to limp it to a shop. Paid $120 for a dunlop q3. Then I...

ECU restriction in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Need help! (possible great idea)

I'm just gonna make a 250 mile day trip out of it and get it tuned on the dyno by them :)

Mocked up a set of r6 clip ons. I like the height on them, because after a road trip last sunday, I realized how crappy trying to stay full tuck for over 80 miles was. But they're not exactly what I'm looking for so I'll probably be in the market for a new bar. Any ideas on some that are lower...

    Misfire/stalling

Put over 40 miles on her today, no weird running/idling. You can change the outer two plugs/coils without removing the radiator, but its a bit of a pita. Best bet is a coolant drain, then pull the rad off for more room, will be doing it again when I disable the ais.

    Misfire/stalling

Ok so it was a faulty coil, but cylinder #1, not #4 which seemed cooler with the thermal camera. Exhaust for #1 was ice cold after 30 second run time, while the other 3 were almost too hot to touch. Bought a used coil off ebay for $8 and she runs fine now :D gonna take her to guhl asap after I...

    Misfire/stalling

Problem figured out, its a bad coil. Using a thermal imaging camera I was able to tell that #4 was colder(therefor the one not firing properly) allowed the bike to cool down, then switched #4's coil with #1's. Now #4 was the same temp as the others and #1 was colder, so I believe it to be a...
