I have the Puig naked new generation windscreen and I like it. Its easy to take on and off, pushes the wind off your chest (wind still hits your helmet unless you tuck) and it looks pretty cool. If youre looking for total wind protection get one of the touring screens.

how hard is it to install these? Any caveats?

Most bike shops can do this provided you buy some springs. Race Tech has a pretty good reputation, you can buy the springs online and have them installed at your local bike shop, or they have some people that work with Race Tech ( I had an authorized service provider in my area)

I had Dirt Road Eddie mod my stock seat, and its been my best investment so far. I haven't had any experience with the other brands but his prices are good and he'll mod your stock seat for probably less than you get one of the others secondhand.

I have the Puig flyscreen and really like it. It's not to big, looks good on the bike , and diverts the air off your chest while upright and you can tuck behind it easily if you want to.

I have a Givi tanklock bag and I haven't ever used it. If you're interested I can post some pictures. It has a flange that goes around the gas tank then it just pops off with a lever on the bottom.

Wouldn't harder sprockets cause the chain to wear out faster unless it was made of the same material?
