Leaving it like this for now. I may repaint the airbox cover yellow and go with the speed block graphics I had thought about but that'd be spring or next summer. Honest opinions welcome.

Even barometric pressure changes may change the tire pressure a bit. Check the tires cold then ride it a bit to warm them up. Check the pressures when you've heated the tires and see what they are. What Henry said too.

The bad part is that insurance companies consider the 8 a sportbike. Flo and State Farm said the same thing. Must be advertising. I'm wondering what they'll do with the new 09 .

I'm 53, no wrecks or tickets in over 25 years and Flo quoted me 1600 a year. My State Farm agent got it down to 900.....

Hopefully this weekend. My buddy is an OTR truck driver so his days off have been hit or miss. I've had a couple of schools I've had to go to and work related teaching so my days off have not amounted to shit this summer. So far the FZ8 has been the best bike I never get to ride LOL.

Mine makes a funny noise to but I attribute that to a wind whistle in the bug shield/mini fairing. I've had several bikes to do that. Hear the noise and move a free hand in front of the fairing or use masking tape to see if noise changes..
