Hi Evan, just get some weather resistant foam from a local hardware store and put it under the cowl. Should take 10 mins and $5. Yeah it might feel "cheap" but the FZ8 was made with budgets in mind. I don't have any other parts that buzz besides that cowl. Even my new kawi has a buzzy ignition...

Apparently they're making both a naked 750 and 1000. The 750 had a huge bump in weight but also tuned for street use. Nice to see more attention to the naked market finally (stateside). I still prefer my fz8 over a suzuki version :)

Who buys a naked bike and then buys a windshield :P Simply put you won't find a "functional" one besides one that might move air from your chest to your shoulders. It will effect your steering at higher speeds as well.

That's a seriously costly replacement, I would get a second opinion from another shop.

I bent my rear brake pedal about 2 months ago and replaced it. The springs were very annoying but breaking the peg loose was a pita. Took like 20-30 mins.

15k miles and while its not in mint condition it still drives fine. Will probably replace at 20k just because it feels like the right time.
