    Thoughts issues on the 2012?

yah, shouldn't be too difficult to replace and is easily caught before a total failure occurs; but something like this shouldn't happen at all in the first place.

    Thoughts issues on the 2012?

http://www.779cc.org/forum/fz8-general-discussion/3517-rear-suspension-arm-failures-please-read.html?highlight=bent This is the only one I know of, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern to which bikes are affected and which ones are not. I have 12k miles on my 2011...lots of track days..lots...

Anyone leave their FZ8 outside under a cover?

I leave mine outside. I cover it before it rains most of the times, and I put it in a garage in the winter. So far, no problem...no rust...the bike looks like it's garage kept. I take that back. There are very very small minor scratches from stupid mating squirrels.

Mild Mods Project: Comparisons along the way.

What's the weight of the cs one? I have been trying to look at how much weight I would save if I switch to this exhaust.

    Exhaust Manufacturers

You don't have to re-map if you're just putting on a slip-on. you can...but you don't have to. It's highly recommended to re-map if you're installing a full exhaust system.

    Range Rover VS bikers...

These guys are assholes and I would have done the same thing if I was in the range rover with my wife and my 5 month old kid. Here's another video uploaded by the same rider. FILE0011 - YouTube It skips to the 60 second mark when these guys pick another fight with a prius. These guys don't...

    new rear tire....

dunlop roadsmart 2.... These tires are absolutely amazing for sport touring tires. I have about 6000 miles on these tires, and they look like they can go for another 2-3k more miles! I also have taken them to the track 5 times (~750 miles), and the grip is AMAZING! Not once have I felt any...

    O.M.G!!!!!!!!!

I was exactly in cambo's position. - motorcycle noob and wanted a nice bike to grow into - oh look! An fz8 that thing looks gorgeous! Oh snap! The insurance is cheap too ($350 a year, full coverage, 100/300k, 500 deductible compared to 15 million a year for an R1)! - that's perfect considering...

    O.M.G!!!!!!!!!

So I take my bike to the track often. At first, I was scraping my pegs, but that was an easy fix. I changed my rearsets to the vortex rearsets. Now, when I'm at the bike's max lean angle, trail braking, and as soon as I get off the brake completely and touch the throttle, PFFFFTTTTTTTTT. The...

    O.M.G!!!!!!!!!

Well first, I love high mount exhaust, and this one in particular is very unobtrusive. It goes behind the passenger peg and underneath the seat, and I think that looks really clean. I'm just really tired of scraping my exhaust too to be honest. Our bike's clearance sucks as it is.
