I was given a YT12B-BS battery by my Yamaha dealer. The web says it should be a YTZ10S. I can't find any reference to the dealer one for our bikes? I haven't had a chance to put it in yet and thought I would ask before I do. If it fits should I just go ahead and do it? Thanks.

I've completely forgotten the side stand (on this bike) as well. Full tank of petrol and all I could do was hold it up at a severe angle and yell for help from my partner. Until then I had always wondered how people forget things like that!

Sorry mate to hear of the crash. I commute to work and have these type of near misses most days. A mad driver got me a couple of years ago but I walked away with the last pinky bone shoved up into my palm - lucky (though I didn't think so at the time).
