We are riding this coming up Sunday as well the 3rd. We are going to do some cool routes including willow city loop. If you are interested let me know. Will be a fun slow to intermediate pace. I get back from Boston Sunday around noon. Enjoy the ride! I am pretty sure we want to get into a group ride like that with low pressure on performance but with a common desire to ride! We were planning on doing something Monday, but really not sure which direction... I'll let you know tho!

The ride was awesome. We really got after it. About 27 riders and we split into 3 groups. I am sure we will have more rides. I will keep you posted. Congrats on your wifes new bike. Read about the tire issue. I had similar experience when had a nail that I didnt know about and didnt check tires before went on ride. Thing was handling like a pig, stopped the group, and checked my tires and found a nail. Always check my tires before the ride now haha. Let me know if you two every ride up this way or in the hill country as I would be down for meeting up.

We picked up the bike this weekend. She rode it all the way home like a champ. How was the ride?

Thats awesome. Yeah Schertz is even easier. I am actually in Kyle. The ride is with Austin Sportbike Group. Mostly all experienced riders, no dumb asses, safe riding, and we will be splitting into two groups so each group is paced according to ability. I am going to be sweeping the faster group. All good riders. Fun times. If you can make it the easiest way might be to just go up 35 and in that case we can meet in Kyle and I can lead us into austin to the Y. ps-I have been trying to get my first (new rider) to get a 650r. Especially the newer ones are pretty badass...minus the weird exhaust lol.

Only done Lime Creek Road one time, great ride! Sunday is a possible, but my wife is about to pick up a 650R up in Mexia, maybe this weekend... so count us as maybe's! Yeah we're down in Schertz, so NOT QUITE San Antonio proper.
