What rail said...remove your oil filter and dump it out...it'll only be 4-8 oz, but it's the easiest way to remove a small amount of oil.

Mine sleeps on the street under the stars. I have a garage, but never saw the need to cover and baby any of my bikes. A little rust never hurt anybody.

Our forks are really easy to take apart. I've already blown each fork seal. Just make sure you get new oil seals, dust seals, and retaining rings. As far as tools, you'll need a spring compressor & damper rod clip, 43mm seal driver and damper rod holder.

Oh...and forks too.

I'm interested in the voltage regulator, starter relay, water pump, 2nd radiator fan, a set of turn signals, both rearset assemblies.

Is the Motodynamic LED unit brighter than stock or about the same?

For a used FZ1 shock? If it's not free...it's a rip-off.

I was thinking the same thing...there is a chance that the relay arms are designed to give and offer one final bit of give to protect the rest of the linkage. As far as me, I'm 190 lbs, so probably pretty close to an average-sized rider. I've had problems with the rear bottoming out ever since...

As I mentioned in a prior thread about suspension issues, I've recently had a near-catastrophic failure on my FZ8. Upon a failure of the shock, both relay arms taco'd and one broke. Below are pics I took of the new and old relay arms.

If they're the driver footpegs, I'd be interested in snagging them off of you. Let me know what you'd want for them.

MY problems with the suspension? Well, I recently have had both of my relay arms bent into a "V" shape and one is broken. VERY close to a catastrophic failure of the swingarm. I'm not sure if my shock is blown or not yet...I haven't torn into the bike yet, but had there been a quality shock...

You could probably shed a pound or 2 of stickers...
