Did the same but I machined a pc of aluminum bronze and necked it down to 1.5" for a little back pressure

Take all the plastic clips out underneath the tail, remove the driver seat to reach two plastic retainers(5mm Allen), remove the fender(license plate bracket thingy with a 10mm socket), two Phillip screws and the tail should slid away from the sub frame.. After that it's a couple more Phillip...

If your crafty you can cut and weld bits of the stock fender and whip one up yourself. I'm not saying in skilled in the welding department. But a good grinder and paint job hides the mistakes lol

A common gearing change is -1 in the front.. I myself once my sprockets are ready to be changed will do -1 in the front and +2 in the rear (another common upgrade). Doing that I will lose top speed but I will get 100 fast and pull like SOB. Look into doing a 520 conversion too. Let the bike...

Not sure where in the mitten you are but holiday powersports in jackson is where I go. There okay but i would trust full throttle in Lansing with out a doubt. Haven't herd anything bad about them. I'm one to fix things myself so I'm going off previous stories. Hope this helps!
