Took 2 hour ride today, apart from the heat (outside and coming from the motor), there was no tingle in my jingles when I got off.

Got my seat today, installed in 10 minutes with an allen wrench and 10mm deep socket. Got it in less than 10 days, would have been yesterday but signature is required for delivery and I was at work. Had to get it at the post office this morning. Initial impressions, it's awesome. Looks great...

You convinced me, I ordered one in blue stitching last night, now the wait for shipping from outside the US begins.

No dents or scrapes, stainless with the carbon fiber dual outlet tip. Sounds bad a$$, but I want a shad seat more than the exhaust right now. Less than 1k miles on pipe, mounting hardware included, $200 + shipping. I'll throw in some bar end mirrors too if anyone is interested.

I've found a deal on a shad seat for my 2013 FZ8, however it has blue stitching. My bike is the Matt gray color with blue pin stripes. Anyone know how close the blue stitching is in color to the Yamaha blue pinstripes?

The 1st generation Fz1 has compatible levers and perches. The second generation uses a different perch that is not the same (just went through this when had to replace one of mine. 1st Gen Fz1 is a direct swap).

I thought about pulling them off my FZ6, but the FZ6 end weights have a much bigger threaded bolt and is definitely not compatible. If the Fz1 works, that will broaden my search since there are probably gobs more of them kicking around than fz8....
