The Guhl website claims that their ecu flash gives you "customizable tuning capabilities". What does that mean? Will it allow me to upload my own fuel maps into the ecu if I want?

Does it eliminate that initial throttle lag, when rolling on from closed throttle. That split second of the bike doing nothing just when you start giving it throttle. I'm fairly happy with the stock FZ8 powerband, but that initial lag is annoying!

Do you mean that a louder airbox and exhaust drowned out the sprocket noise, or that the extra sprocket noise does not exist? I'm still hoping that there will be an aftermarket sprocket option out there that is just as quiet as stock, or even quieter, than the stock setup.

I was also thinking of changing the front sprocket, but I heard the aftermarket sprockets make a LOT of extra noise compared to stock. Are there any sprocket options out there that are quieter than stock?

For me.. The FZ8 seemed like the most amount of power I could actually use on the street without going to jail or paying $1000s in traffic tickets. The FZ1 would have been a nice upgrade in power that I could NEVER take advantage of on public roadways.
