Wonder how "hot" this bike runs....

$316 a year for full coverage here in Nashville. Not sure if i'm considered old though...31 I'm sure glad I'm not in a high bracket or state. I don't think i'd own a bike if i was paying $900 a year for insurance.

I have the Xgrip and Ubolt on my '11 FZ8. Safely tested up to 130 with no issues and a Galaxy S5 with case. Even slightly above the windscreen there's been no issues, the windscreen seems to do a good job of directing airflow high enough. I'll admit i was skeptical at first until i had it in...

Ride at the dragon was great. Little rain on the way there, wet roads suck, but it was dry by the time we got to the bottom of the dragon. Saw one other Fz8 and one Fz9 out there. Cops were out though...we got lucky being on slow turns as they were coming by.

I also have the cheapies but from ebay..same ones in red and black. They appear to be great build quality. Ridden them maybe 1500 miles or so with no complaints. I'm typically very skeptical about the cheaper versions but after seeing another review on them i decided to jump in and glad i did...

Like a couple others on here I transitioned from a yzf600r to a 2011 fz8. My comments are in line with most of the others. I have the yamaha fly screen and don't notice much wind issues at fz8 riding speeds. However i don't ride the fz8 near as fast as i rode the yzf. 70-110 is cruising speed...

Welcome. I live in downtown Nashville. Although I don't do as much riding as i'd like to, i'm always up for a ride.

Same here...premium is not that much more expensive for 3 or 4 gallons...and even if it's just a peace of mind its worth it..plus who doesn't tell people they run premium in their sport bike like it requires it...

I really haven't done that much exploring. I've just got a quick 10 mile or so loop on Old Charlotte Pike in W Nashville that I hit when i've got a little time. Thinking about hitting up Cherahala Skyway/Dragon on saturday with a buddy from Atlanta pending the weather.
