Price was around $270 before taxes...don't have the invoice with me, but very close to Yamaha on-line price.

Thanks to the great service by the parts manager at Powersports Canada, Ottawa On, he was able to find an OEM part which matched in colour from Yamaha Europe....as it was not available in North America listing (which makes no sense to me...but...). It took a couple weeks longer to arrive, but...

I checked with my dealer and the matte grey is not an option...but they had no concerns about having it painted to match by their in house painter. The price was reasonable...$50. It's on the "to do list"!:)

Looking for FZ8 owners in Ottawa...haven't seen any on the roads since I started riding in May?
