    securing your helmet and jacket to the bike!!

    I took out a new magazine subscription and was given a free gift called a "lidsafe". It's a wire covered (slashproof) waterproof soft bag for your helmet that you can lock to your bike. There's also a "pacsafe" for your kit. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks ok as basic security.

    I agee Kriega has some great products. I have a rucksac, a tailbag and a waistbag - all excellent quality, built to last and designed by bikers.

    Sounds stupid, but can I get the warning sticker off the tank w/o f'ing up the tank?

    I just removed mine using a hair dryer and some turps substitute. The clear platic layer comes off easily and then I used an old credit card to scrape away the sticker bit by bit. The turps got rid of the remaining glue fairly easily with a bit of elbow grease. Job done in 20 minutes.

    What did you pay for your Yamaha FZ8

    My Fazer 8 ABS was £6999 in the UK, I part exchanged a 4 year old FZ6 Fazer S2 for £3400 and got the balance over 3 years at 0% i.e. £100 pm. I collect my new machine on Saturday :D
