This is a recent picture of my 2013 FZ8 with a fender eliminator installed. I wasn't sure if I'd like it that much, but it made the back end look much better. It seemed to shave off around 3 or more pounds of weight also. The kit was a cheaper one ($30 or so) I found online, but it worked out.
