What are the benefits of the flash and what can you do with a PCV? Also actually is there anyway of finding out if a PCV is or isnt actually working. Cheers James

Hi James.
The list is long and endless lol. It's the usual things like. Remove restrictions. Better fuelling etc.
What do you want doing with the PCV?
We're in the process of fitting a brand new dyno into the workshop so we can help out with any PCV problems you might have. Is the PCV fitted to the bike?

I'm not to sure exactly I guess I would just like what everyone else does which is a bike that runs as smooth as it can and performs better if that is possible. I got the PCV second hand and haven't fitted it to my bike yet for fear it will do more harm than good. I need to plug it into my laptop and make sure its loaded with a basic download as not sure what is on it already. Where are you located? Cheers

Best thing to do first is have a look and see what map (if any)! is on the PCV. Then you can decide what to do with it. There are downloadable maps on the Dynojet site which you can load onto it but I would advise you to still run the bike on a dyno so you can get an idea of what the A/F is doing and smooth the map out further. Were based in Newbury, Berkshire.

Ok cool. Whats the name of where you work? There is a place in London a bit closer to me called superbike hire that will do a custom map on the PCV for £150. Is that a reasonable price? Thanks for your help.

The company is called s-Tec performance...
We don't advise as we work purely on recommendation...
£150 for a custom map is extremely good..
It takes around 3-4 hours to do a custom map from scratch...

That price did make me wonder if they were any good but they do seem to have all the latest bikes so maybe they are alright. If not I'll have to take it somewhere else. Cheers again.

It usually costs (at a good dyno centre)! £250-£300

Ok....maybe that was just a starting from price then depending on what you have done, probably let you get there then say "oh yeh btw its extra for this, this and this". Lol.

They will usually charge you for fitting the PCV as well as writing a custom map for it...

Ah I'd do that myself. I'm just waiting for my exhaust to come back from a metal fabricators before I can go any further.
