Removing velocity stacks. What hex size and length?

I've searched and read 5 and 4 mm for the bolts that hold the velocity stacks. Can someone clarify what size hex and what length hex wrench I need to buy? Thank you.

Why not just get a nice set of metric hex keys, or hex sockets? You will use them in the future. From memory, I want to say that the size that you need is 4mm, but 5mm, 6mm are also popular hardware sizes.

I went to Lowes and bought a 6" 3/8" drive 4mm ball end hex driver and it worked perfectly! about $8 for the tool.

4 mill hex...I had to get a craftsman set of 6or 7....bought 3 different ones and they were not long enough..the socket drive was too wide

They were a bit expensive (45$) but I use them for everything now..they come in handy

With the tool I described NO, they are not a PITA I've done this three times.
Quit embellishing how hard it can be without the right tool, a simple thing done with the right tool.

4mm, 3/8" drive bits are too big you need 1/4" drive or long Allen wrenches. Snap on makes a fantastic 1/4" drive hex socket set but very expensive. Here's a couple cheap and easy options~ ratcheting screwdriver with interchangeable bits or a 1/4 ratchet with a long extension and a bit holder socket.

I said get a long, which basically agrees with what you said for tools.....

IF YOU DONT GET A "LONG" TOOL IT IS A PITA!

that's not embellishing, I simply omitted the tool length because YOU ALREADY STATED IT......

And if he has normal Allen keys, it will be........ *whispers* "a PITA"
